So about that religion of yours…

I just read a post from a friend of mine about Zack Bissell, which if you don’t know is the guy who saved his friend from being hit by a train, only to get hit himself and die.

That’s pretty gutsy, and I don’t know many people that would actually do that in the same situation.

BUT

They also said that the church believes that if he wasn’t a christian than he isn’t going to heaven…now I don’t know about you, but I think thats a load of shit.

I’m not very religious, but not exactly an athiest, but I also don’t think this ‘God’ would be so narrow minded as to not understand that there are some people that don’t get the chance to ‘hear the word’. Why would an all knowing being expect people to believe something so iffy?

Heres my solution.

Be a good person, live a good life. Not everything in the Bible is a load of crap, I’ve never read it from cover to cover or even recently, but theres definately lessons to be learnt. Religion nowdays is so diverse, and theres so much to choose from its impossible to know this one is better than that one, or thats wrong, this is right.

So to the christian fanatics, cultrual retards, and narrow minded scum I say get the fuck off your high horse and stop waiting for miracles. Sure there might be things which no one can explain, I can accept that. But when a mine collapses and 100 people die, but OH WAIT theres one surviver, how is that a miracle? 100 people just died. If you want something to happen, make it happen, don’t rely on something which can’t be proven, and seems to only happen every few blue moons.

And I will keep believing that dinosaurs lived, evolution happened, and time can’t go backwards until someone can give me solid proof of there abstract idea.

Bring me God’s left nut. THEN I’ll believe that the earth is 7000 years old.

And just like that, 2011 is half over.
